The Rocky Canyon Lodge consist of small, simple lake cottages on a quiet gravel road that leads right to the shore of Lake Whitney.
Each cottage accommodates up to 4 guests and offers its own outdoor seating area and grill. Rent one for a small family or reserve all three for multiple families!
The first cottage on the row is Cottage B.
The Cottage B kitchenette has a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. Basic dishware, dish towels, eating and cooking utensils, pots, pans, drinkware, dish soap, paper towels, coffee and sweeteners are provided.
On the right side of the Cottage is the living/sleeping area with 2 queen beds, sofas, and a TV.
The bathroom has a standing shower, sink and toilet and is located just off the bedroom. Towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided.

The front porch of Cottage B has a couple of chairs that can also be pulled up to the outdoor dining table on the right side yard.
There is also a small charcoal grill provided. Lake access is just past Cottage C and D and is open to all Cottage guests.
Guests are welcome to drive down to the lake access to drop off coolers, floats, fishing gear, etc. Please do NOT remain parked in this area – it is Corps land and parking is not permitted.
Just keep walking a little bit further...
Once you reach the end of the low bluffs you'll find these concrete stairs that lead to the water or the fishing platform.
***PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION WITH YOUNG CHILDREN!!! There are no stair railings on these steps and this area can be somewhat steep with DEEP WATER! Use of stairs or platform is at your own risk!
Guests are welcome to pull boats up alongside the fishing platform for pickup or drop off. Please do not leave boats tied off here overnight – it is public property and should be kept clear for other guests who wish to fish and swim.
The fishing platform is a public are open to guests and neighbors. Please use caution as there are not platform railings. Use of stairs or platform is at your own risk!
These stairs also lead to the water and have a handrail for guests needing assistance getting down the stairs and into the water. PLEASE USE CAUTION – they can be steep!
